Time for a career transition?

Career stages…

00 — The honeymoon

The first couple of years in your profession are usually challenging yet exciting. The only reason you would need to reach out to Matt during this period is if you think you have made a rather significant mistake and aren’t cut out to be working in your chosen field at all, or you’re just struggling with the uphill learning process that comes with being a rookie.

03+ years — Not an apprentice, nor an expert

After a few years you’ve learnt a fair bit. You may even think you know more than you actually do. That’s ok. This is youthful exuberance and quite a lovely thing. You’re not getting the opportunities you want and wonder what’s going on. This is a tricky period where you either decide to hang in there, earn a few more stripes and build experience, or take a leap elsewhere. Patience here is helpful, but too much patience can be stifling depending on your nature. It’s a good time to figure out what you’re about. Are you a lifelong career person or will you set yourself up for other progressions in business and life? Either way is fine, as long as it suits you.

10+ years — A little flat perhaps

If you’re ten plus years into your career, you may find yourself a little flat, frustrated, irritable, maybe even bored. This stage is time for a freshen up. Who are you? What are you about? What needs to be tweaked, redesigned or thrown out as part of the next chapter? We can help you answer all these questions so you can move forward with your career with clarity and confidence.

Step into your next chapter.

Time is precious. Use it wisely.
